The National Government and the oil sector reviewed progress and prioritized challenges

Ministry of Mines and Energy. Bogota D.C. August 30th, 2017.  The Minister of Mines and Energy, German Arce Zapata, and the Colombian Petroleum Association (ACP), held a meeting this Thursday with the President of the Republic, Juan Manuel Santos, in order to analyze the dynamics of the national oil industry over the last several months and make decisions concerning the priorities that will be addressed by future efforts.

The event involved the Presidents of the most important companies in the hydrocarbons sector as well as the Minister of the Environment, Luis Gilberto Murillo; the Minister of Interior, Guillermo Rivera; the Minister of Finance, Mauricio Cardenas; as well as the President of the National Hydrocarbons Agency (ANH) Orlando Velandia; and the High Presidential Advisor for the Private Sector, Carolina Soto.
